Aquo Chloriridites
The chloriridites are decomposed by treatment with water, yielding aquo derivatives of general formula M2IrCl5.H2O. Thus:
M3IrCl6 + H2O = M2IrCl5.H2O + MCl. Several of these aquo salts have been isolated. |
