Potassium Bromiridate, K2IrBr6

Potassium Bromiridate, K2IrBr6, is readily obtained by double decomposition of sodium chloriridate and potassium bromide.

It crystallises in bluish black regular octahedra, which are but slightly soluble in water. Aqua regia converts it into potassium chloriridate.
